POSITION: INTERIOR DESIGNER/ SALES ASSOCIATE

Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience in Interior Design field, exposed to custom designed, high
  end furnishing and finishes
• meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• proficient in all MS Office applications; experience with AutoCAD and Photoshop;
  familiarity with Adobe Acrobat, Revit, 3D Max are beneficial
• university degree or college diploma from accredited Interior Design program
  plus relevant work experience is beneficial

Role and Responsibilities

• produce or direct the creation of renderings and presentations that attract and
  inspire clients and team members
• design and execute components of projects of moderate complexity from
  proposal through concept, and close under supervision of Senior Designer
• develop a strong mastery of appropriate construction techniques
• develop high-quality drawing and documentation sets that are clear,
  comprehensive, and consistent
• strive to reduce errors and omissions
• carry out client meetings and consultations (in-store and on-site at various
  locations around the Greater Toronto Area)
• perform office administrative duties including, but not limited to, reception tasks
  and scheduling management

Leadership

• contribute to the design dialogue in the firm
• lead by example, motivate, and develop design teams that consistently deliver
  great design, technical quality and client service
• contribute the development of systems and processes for improved design,
  technical quality, or client service
